I grew up in the Kingdom of eSwatini, a mountainous, picturesque nation in Southern Africa. After immigrating to Canada as a teenager, I became interested in global development and climate change adaptation. With a background in African Studies and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology research, I decided to pursue a graduate degree in Urban Planning at McGill University. I see planning as a means to better integrate environmental and social sustainability into global community development. I am deeply passionate about urban and coastal resilience, disaster management, climate change adaptation, and sustainable urban development.

My love for photography began with 35mm film. I love that a single image can tell a compelling story and invoke any number of feelings and memories. I particularly enjoy capturing emotions, relationships, and the bleary, hazy moments of late nights and early mornings.

I am currently based in Toronto, ON.
